Product Overview
This quilted mattress pad by Utopia Bedding adds some comfort and protection to your mattress. The padding is soft but does not make your mattress too fluffy. This protects your mattress with every night you sleep on it. It has a pocket that fits snugly around your mattress so when you move at night it stays put. It is meant for daily use as an item in your bedroom. It is easy to clean because you simply throw it into the washing machine instead of having to clean your mattress.
Customers Say
Many of our customers enjoy the additional softness the quilted surface provides but prefer this as opposed to an excessively thick or heavily padded mattress. Our consumers often comment that the fitted bottom sheet of the pad fits well on most mattresses and does not come loose during typical nightly movements.
Clients have been pleased with how easily they are able to clean and dry their pads once properly cared for. Light weight is one of the primary reasons many clients wish to use a top layer such as this to provide a cleaner and softer sleeping surface and avoid heavy layers or toppers.
Some common criticisms include the pad is less than what some consumers thought it would be (thinner) and has limitations regarding providing coverage from large spills since it is not completely waterproof. Consumers have commented that the depth of mattresses vary and sometimes the pad will not fit. Additionally, some consumers have stated that the padding may slightly lose loft due to repeated washing.

Bottom Line
The Utopia Bedding Quilted Fitted Mattress Pad is an affordable choice to add some comfort and protection to your mattress. A couple of its strengths include the quilted top layer for added softness, the simple fitted sheet style, and the ability to wash in a machine. However, it is very thin and does not serve as a waterproof bed bug proof or water resistant mattress pad.
