Product Overview
The Owala FreeSip is a free-sipping insulated stainless steel water bottle. It was created to be used every day for hydration at your home, workplace, in schools, while traveling and during exercise.
FreeSip has a unique FreeSip spout which lets you consume liquids by way of its built-in straw, or by tilting the bottle back and consuming liquids straight out of the much bigger opening.
The insulated stainless steel body is made to maintain beverages cold for long time frames. The push button on top of the FreeSip pushes against the drinking area when it is closed. That same push button creates a loop that will also allow you to lock the lid.
Customers Say
Users appreciate that they get to choose whether to sip their drink using the straw or by directly consuming the beverage from the free flow of the spout.
The majority of consumers comment that this product does an excellent job of keeping drinks at cool temperatures for extended periods of time; and in addition, they find the bottle to be functional for daily use as well as for traveling and commuting.
In addition to liking the protection provided by the lid which covers the drinking area while the bottle is unused, some reviewers appreciate how cleanable all of the various components of the product are.
Some users like that most of Freesips' bottles will fit into most common automobile cup holders. However, in order to do so, one would need to purchase a bottle with the correct dimensions.
One of the complaints made by some of Freesips' customers is that there are multiple component pieces that require frequent cleaning.
On occasion, some Freesips customers have reported experiencing leaking issues from the top portion of the lid if they did not properly seal or close the lid; or if the rubber gasket or other interior parts were not seated/aligned properly.
