Product Overview
The Bissell ProHeat 2x revolution Pet Pro Plus 3588F is a large floor model carpet cleaner that can clean carpets, area rugs, upholstered furniture and pet messes. It uses a combination of rotating brushes, heat and high powered suction to remove dirt, stains and odor from the fibers in your carpets.
This product has different settings, MaxClean and Express Clean which allows you to choose how much cleaning power or fast dry time you need. This product also comes with three different attachments, one for cleaning stairs, another for cleaning upholstery and another for doing small spot cleaning jobs. Thus this product is more useful than an average carpet upright vacuum.
Customers Say
A large number of consumers have reported that this machine has a very good ability to remove obvious dirt, stain and pet urine from their carpeting as well as the ability to give an overall fresh appearance to old carpet. A great number of customers have reported that it does a great job in removing dirt and stains from high traffic areas as well as those homes that have pets.
Customers have praised the variety of tools and cleaning options. The Express Clean mode has been highly praised by many customers who would like to speed up the drying of the carpet. However, other customers praise the Max Clean option because it will provide a much deeper cleaning for those areas where there has been a lot of foot traffic or pet messes.
However, several common complaints were expressed about this product. Those complaints included how heavy and bulky this product feels when you fill it with water. Some consumers complained that it was difficult to find the time to clean out all of the tanks, brush area and nozzle after each use. Finally, a small but notable number of consumers have stated that the suction power of the machine has decreased over time if the parts of the machine are not thoroughly cleaned and put back together properly.

Bottom Line
The BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus 3588F is a good bet for families with heavy pet traffic and/or stain-prone carpets due to its very powerful cleaning capabilities, different clean settings, and additional accessories. It has drawbacks of size/heavy weight, bulkiness in storage and the added time and effort of maintenance needed on your end after you have cleaned.
