Product Overview
The American Flat 12 x 18 Black Picture Frame features an easy to use design that fits your photographs, posters, certificates, prints, and all types of wall art in a simple clean modern look. A wide variety of home decor items will work well with the picture frame's simple black color. This frame can fit into a bedroom, hallway, office, living room, and even on a gallery wall.
The American Flat 12×18 Black Picture Frame has a new type of framing material called Engineered Wood as opposed to traditional glass. This allows for a lighter weight shatter resistant front. The frame also comes with hanging hardware and is versatile enough to hang either horizontally or vertically depending on the way you would like to display your piece of artwork (landscape or portrait).
Customers Say
Many customers have said the frame appears to be clean and shiny after installation. In many cases, the black finish has been a good fit for contemporary, minimalist, office space, and gallery wall designs.
Customers have stated they like how light the shatter-resistant front is, which in turn lessens the likelihood of breaking glass. Many consumers state the frame was simple to install hanging and changing the display from portrait to landscape was a breeze.
Some common complaints regarding this product are that it feels as though it is made of lower quality materials than a wood frame would feel and there may be some issues with the back tabs or hardware at times. Additionally, some customers have mentioned that although it is described as clear plastic it scratches much easier than glass does if you handle it poorly.
