Product Overview
The Cobbe Filtered Showerhead w/Handheld has the functionality of a handheld showerhead and an integrated multi-stage filter cartridge. This product was developed in order to provide users of this product with better shower experience while still offering high pressure water flow and the convenience of being able to remove the hand held portion from the main showerhead for rinsing hair, cleaning the shower or bathing your pet.
The clear plastic filter housing will allow you to see the condition of the filter material at all times. The large area spray face allows the water to exit through many different holes, giving it a very wide coverage pattern. Installation of this unit requires only normal plumbing connections as it attaches directly to your existing shower fixtures and does not require any special tools.
Customers Say
Most consumers report that the new shower head produces much better flow rates of water compared with previous shower heads. Buyers have stated that this new shower head has a lot of force behind its spray, yet it does cover a large area. Buyers like the fact that they can hold the hand held unit and use it to rinse off after using the shower or clean up in the shower.
Several users said that installing this unit was very easy and were able to see when the filter needed to be replaced. Many users have reported small leaks at the connections where the units attach. There are many different opinions as to how durable these units will be over time.
A few consumers noted that the filter cartridges need to be changed periodically. Other consumers noted that the plastic used to make the units appears to be somewhat light weight and possibly less sturdy than if made from metal.
