Product Overview
The Rug Tape by Rabenda is made up of 12 small triangular shaped pads that will hold down your area rug, runner and mat so it doesn’t slide around, curl or lift off of the corner. These pads are meant to be placed under each of the rug’s four corners when you have a smooth, hard flooring surface such as tile, wood, laminate etc.
Each pad has two sided adhesive and is able to grab onto both the rug and the floor to help keep them flat while preventing the rug from moving. This product is ideal for use in Entry ways, Kitchens, Bedrooms, Hallways, Living Rooms and all places where you typically put light weight rugs and they continue to get moved because of day to day traffic.
Customers Say
Many customers reported good results with the Rabenda Rug Gripper on various types of floors (hardwood, tile, marble, etc.) as long as the surface was clean before application. Most consumers stated that the triangle design helped prevent corner curling and kept them flat.
Many buyers reported that it was relatively simple to install and most of the time did not leave heavy residue. Many consumers noted that the pad remained completely out of sight under their rugs and did not affect the overall look/appearance of the rug.
However, common negative reviews included; poor adhesive strength on dirty/uneven/textured surfaces, loss of friction/adhesive from repeated use to remove the pads, and difficult removal of pads once they were installed for an extended period.

Bottom Line
The primary use of Rabenda 12 Pcs Rug Tape is as an affordable and relatively easy method for keeping the corner of rugs flat and reducing movement when placed on smooth hardwood flooring. Some of its most positive aspects include how easily it can be installed, the fact that the adhesive is hidden in small triangular pads, and how well it will stick to clean surfaces. However, some of the negative limitations of this product include poor performance when used with textured or irregularly shaped floor types; and that the adhesive may lose strength and therefore its ability to hold after being repeatedly removed from a surface.
